The Property
Allium Hill is a 10-acre private agricultural estate in Leelanau County, Michigan, just 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City, nestled in the countryside between Lake Leelanau and Grand Traverse Bay.
Up a 1000 foot tree-lined driveway, we are a working farm with two acres of newly planted, biodynamically farmed vineyard, and budding plans for a culinary garden, edible perennial landscape and fields of pollinator habitat.
The property boasts mature landscaping, multiple outdoor leisure and gathering spaces and wooded and countryside views.
The Farm Stay
Experience a one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan vacation with a stay at Allium Hill House, an intimate luxury farm stay on our 10-acre private agricultural estate.
Newly renovated in 2024, the 5-bedroom, 5-bath home sleeps 10 including three king en suites. Situated at the top of our hill, the house feels peaceful and private with 360 degree views of woods and countryside.
The Vineyard
Allium Hill Vineyard was planted in 2023 as a joint project between Daymark and Allium Hill. Starting from scratch, the Leelanau County vineyard will be farmed in alignment with organic, biodynamic and regenerative practices to grow grapes exclusively for Daymark wines.
We are growing a white field blend of Reisling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, Muscat and Pinot Meunier, a red grape used in Champagne.
Look out for our first vintage in a few years!
The Food
Food is at the core of the Allium Hill experience, whether it is immersing yourself in the agricultural landscape in which it grows, visiting the farm market across the street or enjoying a meal inspired by the local bounty.
We are developing an expansive culinary permaculture garden and edible landscape, designed by Megan Gilger’s Perma Studio, where we will grow vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers and biodynamic preps.
Our chef’s kitchen was designed for those who love to cook and our indoor and outdoor spaces have been designed for gathering.
We hope you will enjoy many memorable meals here.
